Andrew Soenksen '23 Recruiting Profile

I have been competing at a high level and keeping myself to high standards since I have started playing the game.  When I step on the court I only worry about the one thing I can control, my effort.  When my jumpshot is not falling or I am turning the ball over I make sure to have a “next play” mentality and keep giving as much effort as I possibly can.  Whether it is sprinting back on defense or diving for a loose ball I make sure that my opponent never outworks and outhustles me.

I keep my same high standards off the court as well. I stay very focused in school, maintain a high GPA, and am a very good listener and learner. I wish to attend any college where I can keep putting in effort on the court and in the classroom.  I hope to become a role model for all my teammates and family members at the next level with my skills and mindset.
