My name is Caleb Jordan Jackson. I am currently a senior at Plainfield East HS in Plainfield, IL. I have been learning the game of basketball since the age of 7. I began learning the game of basketball at the YMCA in Portage, IN. Since the start of my basketball career I have either played with a local basketball club, school team, or with an AAU team. Just a few of the AAU teams that I have played with include Illinois Attack, Region Elite out of NW Indiana, Antelope Elite out of Toledo, OH, and Portage Elite/94Feet Elite also out of NW Indiana. I have also attended several college level camps and have worked out with college level coaches such as Niko Panousis with Bosco Institute in Crown Point, IN. My individual goals each and every game I play as a "true" point guard is to be the leader on the court, play uptempo at all times, defend the best at my position, and get every teammate involved on both ends of the court. Offensively, I possess the basketball IQ. I am a selfless basketball player that looks to assist and score when the opportunity presents itself. Defensively, I consider myself one the best in my class and it is exemplified each and every game. I work just as hard in the classroom as I do on the court. I am a full participant in the classroom and not afraid to ask questions when I don't understand the subject. This year I will be taking the scholastic tests that are a requirement to get into a basketball program that fits my skills, attitude, and work ethics. I am overly excited about my future basketball career and promise I will be nothing but the player any coach would love to have on its team.
