Thomas Kopelman '14 Recruiting Profile

I am a 6'3 starting varsity shooting guard.  My high school team, Rockford :Lutheran, ended the year 25-5 winning a regional title but losing in the sectional finals. I ended the season with 660 points and 1,370 for my career. I also made 93 3 pointers and 232 for my career. I was also named all state for the second year in a row and to the all tournament team for both my thanksgiving tournament, and my Christmas tournament. Right now I am the leading scorer in the area and one of the top scorers in the state, averaging 22 PPG. I am shooting 65% from the floor and 80% from the free throw line. Also I average 5 RPG, 4 APG, and 4 STPG a game while average less than 1 turn over per game.

My AAU team, Rockford Ambassadors, had a successful summer winning the gold division of a few tournaments and finishing the year 21-6.  I averaged over 20 PPG, and in our final tournament in Ft Wayne, IN at the GRBA Nationals I averaged over 32 PPG.

I have had numerous offers and I am starting to plan and take official visits.  I am looking for the best opportunity to call home and spend my next 4 years.

Also, my grades in school are very good too. Last semester I received a 4.0 unweighted and a 4.67 weighted GPA. I am also in every honors class I can be in.
