Liam Roberts '20 Recruiting Profile

My name is Liam Roberts. My plan is to major in International Studies (Global Studies). I find National Security and working for the government very interesting to me as an occupation. I want to make a difference within this world.

Within basketball, I believe I would be a good candidate for any team because I am driven to succeed at anything I am asked to do. I am very dedicated, committed and am a hard worker.  I am not selfish and have a strong character, on the court. I was taught to treat everyone with respect, from coaches to referees to players. I strive to do the right thing on and off the court and lead by example. What makes me different from other recruits is I strive to do my best even when things get tough. I don't give up and walk away. I push harder to get better at that specific inconsistency. I work to give 100% at all times, even when I get tired. I want to help my teammates achieve success because we are only as good as each other.

In my academics, I am averaging a 3.4 GPA out of a 4.0 scale (weighted). I am committed to working hard to achieve a 4.0. I am an honor student.  Achieving a solid education will establish the basis for succeeding on the court as well as in life. This also increases my chances of earning a better job; helping support myself through life; making a difference in the world. Therefore, that is why I believe I am a great asset to a college program. I hope your school can help me achieve my dreams.
