I have been playing basketball for 12 years, 11 in Italy and this year in the U.S. . I consider myself as a leader for the example i try to give to my teammates never giving up and because i speak up; if they can improve in a way i know their work and their performance i will tell them, and for that i could be a tough teammate to play with sometimes.
My most important year as basketball player is last year because i played as a leader in my team (U18), as a shooting guard where i averaged 16 ppg 8 rpg 5 apg, 2 spg 1 bpg, and as a "rotation player" in the U20; i learned to earn all my minutes because almost everyone in the other team was better than me and practicing with them gave me the opportunity to improve myself in all the aspects of my game.
I put the same effort in basketball as in school, in fact i am an international student from Italy and i'd like to attend a college with both a good school and a good basketball program, because being a good athlete doesn't mean anything if you do not have a good education, knowledge and awareness of the world we live in.
