It all started when I was in second grade and my mom signed my up to play for a local travel team. That is when I fell in love with the game of basketball. The more I played the more I loved it. The summer going into my freshman year of high school I broke my back and was unable to play for six weeks. While being sidelined for the summer I was able to learn so much. It helped me become a better leader and teammate. Playing up on my AAU team I was able to learn how to play stronger and it made me more competitive. I was lucky enough to be apart of a successful team my sophomore year. I was able to lead my team in becoming conference champs and to the sectional championship.
I plan on becoming a better leader and teammate over my next two years of high school. I am hoping to join a program that will help me grow not only as an athlete but also as a student. I want to be able to grow as a man on and off the court. I believe I can make an impact right away. I believe I have the skill set to be a great asset to your team!
