Caleb Shenkel '22 Recruiting Profile

Hi, I'm Caleb Shenkel, and I am a senior at Harlan Christian School and plan on going to college to earn my nursing degree. As a player, I play in the post but have the ability to play like a small forward or any other position that would need to be played. I have won many All-Tourney teams throughout my career, and currently sitting on Honor Roll for my third year. I would like to play on a team that not only has good chemistry on the court but a team where I can be utilized for whatever is needed, whether it is uplifting my team, or being the scrappy player that fights for everything on the court. 

As a student and an athlete, I have been able to keep my grades up and maintain my 3.7 GPA. I am an honor roll student and have won multiple academic awards in my class. I am different from the others because I know how hard you have to work to be able to make it in a sport like basketball. The sport has taught me a lot about myself as a brother, a son, a teammate, and as a friend, and that is why I love this sport so much.
