Tylen “Ty” Brown '21 Recruiting Profile

My mom has inspired me to be the best student-athlete!  She's played on the collegiate level and introduced me to basketball at the age of four.  I've been enjoy this game for many years!  Being cut from the basketball team during my eighth grade year was devastating.  That experience helped me  to grow as a person and lead me to re-focus my own efforts on becoming a solid shooting guard/small forward and looking forward to playing on the college level.  During my years of playing basketball, I've learned the value of teamwork, commitment, sacrifice, and leadership. I'm looking for a program that will be a good fit for me athletically as well as academically. I believe I not only have the talent to compete for a college team, but the character, work-ethic, and leadership skills to make an immediate impact on your program. As a captain of my team, I know that I have what it takes to be good leader on your team!
