Jaxx Rittman '18 Recruiting Profile

Hi, I'm Jaxx Rittman and I am a senior at Waukee High School in Waukee, Iowa.  I have been playing basketball for over 10 years and every year that goes by my passion for the game and desire to play at the college level continues to grow.  I have always been known as a great defensive player, hustling and stealing the ball. My 3-point shooting has also gotten the attention of many of my coaches and opponents. I want to become more well rounded, so I have been in the gym working hard on my inside game. My time in the weight room has also increased which has allowed me to get stronger and improve my overall conditioning. I am constantly working to perfect my game and consider myself very coachable. I also played football in high school but decided to focus solely on basketball since my junior year.  I am a team player and unselfish on the court. I don't hesitate to pass the ball to a teammate if I feel they have a better opportunity to score. I am a competitor and hard worker on the court as well as in the classroom. Academics are equally important to me so my time management skills have also improved over the last couple of years. My ultimate goal is to graduate from college with a Sports Management degree while continuing my passion for basketball.
