Will Rau '21 Recruiting Profile

My goal is to be a collegiate basketball player, and contribute to a team’s success. Athletic strengths include basketball IQ, game speed decision making, court vision, athleticism, and passion to win. I truly live out the point guard mentality of making my teammates look good. I want to find the right college match and compete at the highest level of competition possible. I have a calm, competitive edge in high pressure situations and exceptional ability to grasp complex situations and outcomes. I am coachable, have strong character, and am dedicated to continually getting better as a team, player, and person.

I will graduate in 2021 from a highly ranked private school and feel academically well prepared to attain my goal of getting a degree in Business. During high school, I have excelled in the classroom and in leadership and service. I have been on seven mission trips in the summers to serve special needs children at Camp Barnabas, tutor youth and perform work projects in inner city St. Louis, and serve at my local church VBS. I enjoy being with friends and love spending countless hours in the gym training and becoming the best basketball player I can be.
