Aidan Werth '22 Recruiting Profile

While I have played both youth football and baseball, my passion has always been in basketball.   At the age of four I was already playing basketball  on a YMCA team.  Along with school and competitive teams, my experience playing with the MOKAN youth teams through 8th grade, provided the skillsets and competitive intelligence needed to move into High School and AAU Basketball.  From the the time I stepped on the court, I have aspired to play at the collegiate level. I have dedicated myself to constant growth and development of my game under the direction of coaches, physical trainers, shooting coaches, and advisors.  I have strong ball handling skills, a competitive inside-out game, dominate presence in the paint, and a high basketball IQ.  I am a team leader and try to lead by example while also encouraging my teammates. I am very coachable and strive to be one of the hardest working players for any team I am a part of.

My focus is to continue to excel in my academics and athletics over next year.   In college I am looking for a team and a coach focused on achieving goals!  A clear vision, a purpose that keeps us inspired, and a team that has the willingness to take action each day. I am open to all options and want to ultimately find the right college match at the highest level of competition possible.
