A post-secondary education is important to me because I feel it would help me be a more productive part of my community. I am excited to go to college. I am excited to take college classes that I am interested in and start building my network of knowledge to be successful when I graduate. I am also excited to meet new people and make new memories. A post-secondary education will help me get the knowledge and confidence I need to go out into the world and have a career not just a job. I am not sure what my future holds, but I want to have a college degree. I feel that no matter what community I become a part of after college my post-secondary education will help me become a positive and productive person within that community. I will have a degree that states that I can and will finish what I started. That I have the knowledge to pursue my career. I will have also grown as a person.
Athletics has always been a part of my life and I would like to continue competing at the college level. I have a very good work ethic and show up ready to go everyday. I love to play the game and am not ready to give it up yet.
My first step to being successful in my academic endeavors is setting a goal. Goals help me keep up with my work, because I am constantly thinking about reaching both little daily goals and major five and ten year goals. The second step is to not miss a day of class. If you miss a day of class you just put yourself behind everyone else and success will be harder to achieve. My last and final step is to keep a positive attitude about everything. There are times in your life that are really hard and then there are times that everything just seems to come together. I know that no matter how difficult college might seem at times that it will all be worth it in the end. My plan for college is classes and work everyday, with some fun and weekend hunting mixed in.
Thank you
