I've been playing basketball my entire life. Playing college basketball has been a dream of mine for a long time - ever since I started playing AAU in fourth grade. I’ve worked hard through the years towards that goal and I’ve had success along the way. Basketball has given me lots of opportunities. I’ve been fortunate to attend some national camps including the Jr. All-American and Fab Frosh camps in Atlanta, as well as the CP3 Rising Stars camp in Raleigh, NC. I’ve been able to travel to several big cities for AAU tournaments including Chicago, Atlanta, St. Louis, Indianapolis, Nashville, and Kansas City.
I've dedicated myself to being the best I can be on the court and in the classroom. I continue to set goals and work to meet those goals. As a freshman, I wanted to make the varsity team and I did. As a sophomore, I wanted to be a strong contributor at the varsity level and I did that as well. My junior season I set team goals to have a 20 win season and for individual goals of making all-district and all-region. I was fortunate to help lead our team to a 21-10 season and I was honored to be recognized as an all-district and all-region player. My high school team has a lot to build on as we return everyone for my senior season.
I had a strong spring and summer 2018 AAU season with my AAU team, Pocket City. I've recently added some highlights of my summer. I worked hard during the preseason both on the court and in the weight room. Practices are underway and I'm ready for the season.
Academics are very important to me as well. I’ve maintained a 4.0 GPA (4.13 weighted) and currently have a 31 ACT.
I am looking for a program that will be a good fit for me athletically as well as academically. I value the educational aspect of the student-athlete experience as much as the great athletic experiences I hope to be a part of. I believe I not only have the talent to compete for a college team, but the character, work-ethic, and leadership skills to make a difference in your program!
