Julian "Juice" Watson '21 Recruiting Profile

How’s it going Big Coach, my name is Julian Watson, I’m a senior at McKinley Senior High School in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Where I am a member of the Mckinley High Varsity Boy's Basketball team. I am the team’s captain and one of its many leader. 

Coach everyday is a grind on and off the court. Life is a grind and basketball is a reflection of life. This is something that’s been instilled in me from a young age by my parents. I never look forward hand outs, just opportunities. If I get an opportunity,  I know I can show my skill set and the value that I add to your team as a player and as a person.

Off the court, in the classroom I have maintained a 3.9 cumulative GPA while in the Great Scholars Program as well as taking AP and college duel enrollment classes these past four years. I also have a 23 composite score on the ACT. No grades meant no ball so that was a no brainer. It’s always a grind to get what you want.

On the court, I was selected as an All- District Player, and averaged 16pts, 7rbs, 5asist, and 2blks per game during the regular season. My attributes, stats and other info are provided above. It is my life’s dream to play basketball on the next level, something that I love and have dedicated my life to from a young age.
