Dear Sir, I am and writing you this statement to indicate why I want to attend College and how I will be a benefit to your program.
My collegiate goal is to graduate with a degree in finance and to help individuals obtain financial freedom for their families.
In the financial sector, decisions must be made in split seconds that can result in either vast profits or significant losses. Just like basketball, the collapse of a team effort, can demonstrate to me the vulnerability of all businesses as poor decisions can still create a loss...
I am determined to pursue them further in the future and I am looking forward to playing sport at a higher level at university. I have always believed sport to be a positive challenge and a chance to socialize and meet new people as well as the chance to be part of a team.
I have strong ball handling skills, strong physical defense, mental toughness, and high basketball IQ. I am a team leader and try to lead by example while also encouraging my teammates. I am very coachable and assist my coach with leading practices and coaching other teammates to success.
Off the court, I hope to become a great role model to other students, and make my parents proud.
