My name is John Bradley Griffin. Most of my friends call me JB. I live in a small rural community outside of Winnfield, Louisiana. I am involved in many extracurricular activities and love playing sports. Before last season, I did not feel like I could contribute much to my team, but then I surprised myself. I worked really hard, gained muscle mass, and increased my speed in running throughout the year. By the end of the season I was playing and performing very well. This year I have been moved to the point guard position and I'm learning to control my dribble much better. I would love the opportunity to play in college. My grades are good and I have already acquired a 21 on my ACT. I took it again just recently, and hope to score higher. I want to pursue a degree in engineering. I'm not certain what area, but I'm thinking electrical engineering. Please consider me for an opening at your school. I look forward to hearing from you.
