Zach Staten '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Zach Staten. Whichever college hosts me in the future  will get a person with a thrive to do better than yesterday and someone who is coachable and wiling to be open-minded to hear people out. In my eyes it is not all about basketball, but it is about setting yourself up in a great position to be good throughout your life and to teach others the right way to do things and what education and dedication can do. As far as school i personally always want the best out of myself and i want to show that i can be a top athlete and a top class student.On the court i like to model my game after players like Lebron James,  Zion Willamson, and Anthony Davis. When i watch those players i see their drive to win and aggression on the court. Me and basketball have a relationship and bond that cannot be broken and each time i see a ball and court i mean business and want to work to show that i can hang with anyone. On the court i mean work but in the classroom and in life i am focused on one goal which is keeping great grades as my main priority and making college, basketball comes second.
