I am passionate about both basketball and academics. I am currently pursuing several goals. The first is to prepare myself academically for a science or engineering focused course of study in college. I am currently researching ways to obtain college credit during my senior year. The second is to attend a Division 1 basketball program that will provide both a strong academic foundation for my future as well as develop me to be the best basketball player I can be. Despite the pandemic, I am fortunate to be able to currently train with a personal trainer, strength trainer, and compete with other athletes that have D1 offers. This is keeping me on track with my personal player development.
The biggest difference between me and most recruits is I am not a high maintenance or one dimensional player. I have always been a self motivated learner and taken responsibility for my education and athletics. I have high expectations of myself both on and off the court and will do whatever is necessary to achieve my personal goals which usually exceeds the expectations of others. I am disciplined and value training to the point that I have trained before school hours since the 5th grade. I know I can be better and take pushing myself to the next level seriously.
