Lance Gorayeb '25 Recruiting Profile

     I am a team player and a quick learner. I have good hands and a lot of heart in the court. I use my instincts and IQ in court. I am a dedicated and hardworking athlete especially coming from a humble Asian lineage (Philippines), it molded me into a person, student, and athlete that I am today.

     In my 8th Grade, I was the only middle school player in my school to be given the opportunity to play with both JV and Varsity Basketball Teams and I was awarded “The Sixth Man Award”. In my freshman year, I was named “All-District Honorable Mention”. In my sophomore year, I got “Ranked by Prephoops” in the state of Louisiana. In my junior year, I am still “Ranked by PrepHoops” and was given “The Grit Award” at my varsity season. 

     I am also a multi-sport athlete...I joined my school team’s Cross Country, Football, as well as Track & Field where I excelled for winning 1st place in Triple Jump and 3rd in 110M Hurdles at the District Meet in 2022. It has been an extremely rewarding experience as I develop my strength along with my relationship to my coaches. 

    I have been a consistent Honor Roll and/or Knight Elite student. I volunteer at Wilson Community Committee Organization and I am a member of The Fellowship Church.

    I look forward to meeting any coaches, staff, and players to whom I can learn more basketball skills and life lessons that will help me grow into a valuable college athlete.
