Ty Henke '22 Recruiting Profile

I'm a very driven person who never settles. One of my best traits is that I'm both a physical, but also a verbal leader on and off the court. Another good trait I have is being very coachable. I make it my goal to push my teammates on and off the court to be the best students, and athletes they can be. I'm also a very accomplished golfer having won two state championships on varsity my freshman and sophomore years and am preparing for a third run at another championship my junior year.  I'm also in the top 25% in academics in my class as I maintained a 3.64 GPA throughout high school. 

I have been varsity captain and starter since my sophomore year and have set the tone and made our program a very driven one that has high goals of winning in the coming years. I pride myself on being one of the most coachable basketball players in Maine. I can play and guard any position and I never settle for being good, I wanna be the best. I always strive to be my own player and person, no one else.  One of the most important things about me is I enjoy the hard work and grind it takes to get to the next level and become great, and I am willing to do anything. 

In college, I hope to continue my basketball career and play at the next level while studying kinesiology or exercise science in hopes of becoming a physical therapist someday.
