I have always wanted to play basketball at the collegiate level. My parents have instilled in me that my academics come first. I strive to make honor roll at my school every quarter. I know that my work now, both on and off the court, are preparing me to be student athlete in college one day.
My little brother is only 10 and I know that he is looking up to me. I want to be a role model for him, someone that he can look up to and be proud of. I feel that this mentality will carry over when I am playing basketball in college and other kids are looking up to the athletes that go to school in their hometowns.
