Becoming a better leader and just getting smarter on the court this year was the highlight of freshman year. Scoring 20 points in my first high school game was great as well, but what my coaches were able to teach me after and throughout the rest of the year is what made my year as productive as it was. I hope to expand my knowledge and skills throughout my next three years of high school basketball. I really feel I grew a lot both academically and athletically. The transfer to high school filled me with more knowledge for me to use throughout the rest of my life. The experience I had this year helped me grow not only as a player but as a student on and off the court, and also becoming a solid player capable of playing at the college level. I was fortunate enough to be taught how to learn from losses so that my team and I can come back better than we were before the lost. With the skills and knowledge that I have been provided this year allowed me to inherit a better understanding of the value of teamwork, commitment, leadership, and sacrifice. Using all I have learned and will continue to learn for the rest of my basket ball career, I’m looking for a program that will be a good fit for me both athletically and academically. I believe I have the talent to compete for a college team, but also the work-ethic, leadership skills, and character to make and immediate impact on your program. The fact that I have been a dual sport athlete my whole life let’s me know that I am capable of being a leader on your team!
