Hello, I am Niko Crumpler - Peoples in the class of 2023. My goal is to play Division 1 basketball and earn a degree in film and graphic design. I attend Eleanor Roosevelt High School, where I'm a consistent Honor roll student. I'm in Dual Enrollment Program where I get college credits throughout my school day going to Prince Georges Community College and taking courses. I'm in a Leadership Program "The 13th Man" where we learn how to exceed as a young African-american in today's society and indulge in community services. I Played Junior Varsity Freshman year averaging 11ppg, 4 apg and 5 rpg. My athletic career started playing football in the footsteps of my uncles who played Division 1. I also completed 4 years of Kung fu and finished with a green belt (4th to last). But, I fell in love with the game of basketball at age 7. I played for my local county team Upper Marlboro mustangs. I then transitioned to AAU at age 11, playing for PG stealth sponsored by nike, coached by varsity head coach at Largo Hish school Rodney Ward. My next couple of teams were Maryland United, 8 Deep Elite and my current AAU squad Team Assassin. My whole AAU career I've played competitively across the country playing in Tournaments such as Hoop group, Spooky nook, Battle of the null, and more. I have also been to exposure camps such as Washington Wizards camp, Hoop group, and Dematha camp.
