As a dedicated student-athlete with a passion for playing basketball, I am excited to have the opportunity to share my journey and aspirations. From the age of 8, basketball has been more than just a sport to me; this sport taught me important lessons about teamwork, discipline, and perseverance.

I have played several sports, from football and baseball to basketball. I thought football was my passion. But, after one season of playing with my boys and girls club basketball, I was invited to try out for an AAU basketball team, made the team, and traveled to play the game of basketball. After that season, I knew I wanted to focus on basketball. I didn't know what it took to excel in this sport, but with dedicated and passionate coaches and trainers, I gained the knowledge and the proper understanding of what it takes to play on and off the court.

On the court, I pride myself on being a leader and a team player. Whether setting up a play, hustling for rebounds, or cheering on my teammates from the sidelines, I strive to make a positive impact. I aspire to play at the collegiate level. I have a high basketball IQ from watching videos, learning and applying the IQ by playing efficiently, adapting to changes, keeping my eyes on the court and movement, taking practices seriously, understanding plays, and communicating on and off the court. I attended several camps, such as Coach Wooten, Quinn Cook, and DeMatha Catholic. I am coachable; I listen, pay attention, and be respectful, and I strive to be one of the hardest-working players for any team I am a part of.

Off the court, I am equally dedicated to excelling academically and positively influencing my basketball team and the community. I understand the importance of balancing athletics with my studies and strive to maintain high academic standards. Additionally, I am actively involved in community service initiatives to give back to my community and inspire the younger kids to pursue their passions.

I am excited about joining a program and contributing to its continued success. I look forward to showcasing my talents and representing an institution with pride and integrity.
