I've been playing sports since I was a little kid. Over the years I've played basketball, football, flag football even run track one season. While playing sports I've made some great friends and been part of winning and losing teams. I've been lucky to have some great coaches who have helped me, not only improve as an athlete but more importantly as a person. Although I love to compete, sports has also taught me many life lessons - the importance of communication, how to be part of a team and dealing with the ups and downs of life.
I hope to continue being a student-athlete in college. As a player, I work hard on and off the court, have a high basketball iq, strive to be coachable and most of all have a winning team first mentality.
