Basketball has taught me to overcome obstacles as well as how to be very disciplined. It’s not easy to put in the work every day, but basketball is what I love to do, sparked as a 5-year-old doing NBA halftime shows. I demonstrate that love on the court through consistently giving maximum effort, pushing myself as well as my teammates. I also push myself in the classroom and in AP and honors classes, earning Honors with Distinction, a 4.4 GPA (on a 4.0) scale, a 1550 SAT and 35 ACT scores. Additionally, I take on extracurricular leadership roles.
As a high-academic, strong shooter who also has a knack for getting to the rim as well as making hustle plays, I can contribute on both sides of the ball and play hard to help a college team. Basketball is a part of my identity, and I am very passionate about wanting to play at the next level. I am seeking an opportunity to play basketball at a college where I can also prepare for the next challenge, which is ultimately to earn an JD/MBA.
