Taylor Betts '23 Recruiting Profile

I like math and science. They make sense to me. I like the challenge of fitting pieces together. Basketball is like that too. I find that I’m one of the only people that know all the plays on the team. I have been the starting JV point guard my sophomore and junior years. In my junior year my coach kept me in nearly the entire  game so I can provide leadership, control the pace of the game and prepare for varsity next year. We play up-tempo, I force a lot of turnovers, set up a lot of positions to score and make my teammates better. My goal in college is to get a good education, play with people who have similar academic interests as me and know all the plays. My freshman coach wrote a letter of recommendation on my profile which I think would tell you more about the kind of teammate and hard worker I am.
