Dedication, hard working, motivated and a team player describes who I am. I have always taken as much pride in my schoolwork, as well as, my athletic achievements. My ambition is to become a student athlete at the collegiate level. Sports have been an integral part of my life for as long as I can remember. No matter the sport, if there was a ball involved, I enjoyed the competition and game. I played basketball, baseball and ran cross country and had success in all three. However, basketball won out and it is a game I love to play.
In college, I wish to pursue a career in business/marketing/sports management. Through the volunteer work I did over the summer, I now have a strong interest in sports management. I want to work with kids using sports as a way to improve their self-esteem. I would be a good candidate for any team because I am hard working, self motivated and a dedicated student. I feel that school comes first and then basketball. I am different from other recruits because I am self motivated and believe in working harder than anyone else. Getting a task done won't always be easy but I never quit, therefore, I am ready to play at the next level.
