Lamarie Jones '20 Recruiting Profile

I am a 5’9 guard from Boston, MA. I currently go to Cathedral High School, my GPA right now is at 2.9. I have been playing basketball for eight years of my life. I first tried out for a Basketball team in elementary school and continued to play for the rest of my life. While playing for my elementary school team, we won two championships. After winning the first championship gave me a sense of joy that I could not describe and I kept playing Basketball in search of that same feeling.When I first started playing Basketball I was praised a lot for my defense. Since I started playing basketball my coaches have always relied on me to guard the best player on the team we are playing against. I am always committed to my team and work extremely hard to give results that benefit the well being of the team. I do my very best to execute to my full ability the things expected of me as a Basketball player. I am a very driven person and I set goals which are playing basketball in college, majoring in Sports Management, so i can still be around the sport I love.
