My name is Christopher J-T Owens, the T stands for Triumph. According to my Mom I was a 1 lb, 7 oz. baby boy that spent three months in Tufts New England Medical Center in the NICU. I had to fight for my life. I came three months earlier than I was supposed to. However, I was Triumphant! Against all odds, now I am 6’ 0” playing basketball at the high school level. I started playing basketball at five years old. I am very passionate regarding the sport of basketball . Furthermore, I am coachable, and teachable. I also give 110% on the court and in the classroom. I am an Honor Roll student. Moreover, I earned an AAU National Championship 2017 for Lee Academy, Boston, MA at the Division I level . I am a good facilitator and a great ball handler. I can shoot the three point shot well. I am a lock down defender, it is hard to get pass me, resulting in multiple turnovers.
Due to my slow start in life, I have been counted out academically and athletically . I was not expected to make it this far. I am looking for an opportunity to prove that I can compete at the college level.
My goal is to attend college and to play basketball for my school. My goal is to major in Public Relations. I am looking for a college that meets my academic needs as well as my athletic aspirations.
