Ben Chasin '22 Recruiting Profile

My goal is to play college basketball at the highest level possible and also receive an elite education. I am incredibly driven and determined in all that I do athletically and academically. Above all, I believe that strong character is fundamental to success; I have the highest integrity and work ethic. I have attended Horace Mann School in Bronx, NY, one of the most demanding and challenging high schools in the country, and I have a earned 3.85 GPA. Next year, I will be reclassifying into the Class of 2022 and attending Northfield Mount Hermon to play for Coach John Carroll.   I am constantly working to become the best player and athlete that I can be -- working out before and after school, and going to open runs, practices or training sessions late at night. Personal accountability and the desire to be the best version of myself in all that I do are key characteristics of my work ethic and persona. I believe that working as hard as I can 100% of the time will help me achieve my goal of playing Division I basketball at an elite academic school.  I am extremely coachable and respond well to feedback; I have the utmost respect for my coaches and teachers.  I believe that to succeed as an individual, my team must succeed as a group; my success as an individual player is important but not as important as the success of the team.
