My name is Knox Lendall and I am going to be a senior this upcoming school year at Peabody Veterans Memorial High School in Peabody Mass. My freshman, sophomore, and first half of junior year I attended Bishop Fenwick High School. Freshman year I won JV MVP. and hit two threes in a vacation tournament game for the varsity team. My sophomore year I tore my hamstring a few games in and was sidelined for about three months. The day I returned to practice I stepped on a defenders foot, and suffered a sprained ankle. I was out a total of 7 straight months rehabbing from the injuries . At the end of the season I received votes for being a junior captain, but coach felt I needed to prove myself a little more to him first.
Turns out we ended up getting a new coach, and I was looking forward to the fresh start after an unlucky sophomore season. My junior year season I was finally feeling healthy. However, after three games I had to transfer during Christmas break due to financial reasons and other personal reasons. As a result I lost my eligibility for the rest of the reason. Since then I have worked very hard with my Club Coach and trainer Ted Cottrell. Coach Ted played alongside Marcus Camby at UMass under coach John Calipari. Coach Ted and I have worked hard to put together an AAU High School boys program called the Universal Meerkats. http://www.universalbasketballtraining.com/home.html
All spring and summer my skills have improved tremendously. Some of my highlight films and workout videos are posted on my YouTube Page https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCSoWK-CSH7s0db4g80yZabw
My Be Recruited Page also has videos and some more personal information

My upcoming season I am looking to be the starting point guard for Peabody High School, and get recognition to increase my chances of being recruited to play college basketball. Throughout my High School career I have been through a lot of adversity, and this has made it difficult to received recognition from college coaches. I hope websites such as NCSA and Be Recruited can allow coaches to see the type of young man and ball player I am, and have to opportunity to contact me.
In college I am not sure what Division I would like to play in. For academics I would like to study sports management and pursue a career in managing basketball or baseball. However, playing basketball at a high level and maybe even going pro has always been my dream. Any chance to play college basketball would be a dream come true.
