I started to play basketball when I was very young, probably about four or five years old. In the beginning it was all for fun, but I soon fell in love with the game. Around the time I turned seven, I started to dream about playing on the big stage in front of a cheering crowd of fans on a competitive collegiate level.
When I started taking a serious interest in playing basketball, I would watch the top college guards of the time, which further fueled my desire to be a premier collegiate athlete. Off the court, I aspired to be a role model for the small kids or the underdogs who are told they can't make their dreams come true. I participate in many hours of volunteer work aside from basketball, also while balancing school work to maintain a high GPA; always striving to get to the top of my class.
Ultimately, I hope to attend a college which will challenge me both athletically and academically and allow me the opportunity to earn a meaningful degree.
