Ryan Michaels '20 Recruiting Profile

I have always been focused on education and even at a young age before basketball, I was always attracted to gaining knowledge. Once I began to play basketball, and perform at a high level I realized just how far the two paths could take me. Deciding to go to Prep School my sophomore year, I was challenged with a rigorous schedule both academically and athletically. However, this has only improved my overall character and diligence.  

The best part of my experience has definitely been the connections I have made.  I have met numerous coaches, players and people that have shaped my high school years. For me playing college basketball is not only a goal, but seen as a privilege. Going to college has always been my main goal.  Being able to play basketball while getting a college education will be some of the best years of my life.
