Summer 2018 Sport...Personal Statement
I have picture of myself playing basketball before my earliest memories, and I have a treasured picture of my family with Paul Pierce when I was only a year old. I have been surrounded by avid basketball players and fans my whole life. Both of my parents played basketball growing up and used their knowledge and love of the game to teach me. My older brother and I have passed many countless hours playing heated games of one-on-one in our driveway. I am an extremely competitive person by nature, and I use this to drive myself both on the court and in my academics. I am always looking to improve, seeking out challenges to become the best version of myself that I can be. I am an extremely loyal person, and I always stand up for my teammates and friends, no matter what. Basketball is a part of who I am and who I hope to be, I am committed to working to achieve my dream of playing in college.
