Being a part of a championship team my freshman year winning a district championship and a Clark tournament championship showed me how much I love the game of basketball. Coming in third during the state championship sadly ended our run, but the following year we had a mission and that was to win states. Unfortunately we didn’t make anything but that taught me a lesson, to stay hungry and determined to win something my Junior year. Playing basketball has taught me life lessons, it taught me how to work hard without cheating yourself and it taught me how to be a leader on the court as a point guard and off the court as a person, it has also made me notice how hard you have to work for something in life.
I plan to play college basketball and finish off my high school career strong for the next two years. I plan to keep my GPA high throughout the rest of my high school career and also throughout my college career. I am looking for a program that I could fit into immediately athletically and even academically. I have learned so much over the first two years of my high school career and I feel that I am ready to grow as a person and as a player when my time has come to graduate high school. I believe I have a great work-ethic, I am committed and determined to play for your program.
