Update ! I have decided to do a post grad year at Putnam science academy in Connecticut so my graduation year will 2021 . My goal in life is to receive a college Basketball scholarship and in the end, be able to proved for my family . I believe what makes me a good candidate for any team is, that no matter what kind of game I'm having, I can always create a open look for my teammates to get their shot off. What makes me different from any other recruits is, I bring that swagger to the table where I don't care who I'm going up against, My Model is you still have to guard me. In academics I make sure that I'm maintaining good grades. If I need help, I don't mind staying after school for extra help.

- Hometeam: Boys’ basketball players to watch December 11, 2019 at 5:20 pm With the Central Mass. boys’ basketball season getting underway this week, Rich Garven took a look at some players to keep an eye on this season. L.J. Hicks, Murdock Now a senior, Hicks has been red hot for the Blue Devils since he cracked the starting lineup three years ago. The 5-foot-9 point guard averaged 14.9 points as a freshman, 19.9 as a sophomore and 23.8 last season as he ranked third in scoring in Central Mass. Division 3 after checking in second the previous year. “This is his fourth year as a starter, so he has a lot of experience,” coach Matt O’Malley said. “He’s super quick and has range - all the way out to NBA range _ so he’s a real tough guy to guard for anybody because of the combination of his quickness and his ability to make an outside shot. “So on that end he does that, and he’s basically been our leader for the last two years now. We’ve been to Clark, the districts, so he’s been around the block plenty of times and knows what to expect night in and night out and what we expect from him.“ Hicks is one of four returning starters from a squad that went 13-9 and earned invites to the Clark and Western Mass. As a student ambassador I will be involved in events throughout the school year that support MIAA Educational Athletics initiatives and other student leadership and volunteer opportunities.
- ActivitiesI volunteer by teaching the younger kids how to learn the fundamentals of basketball with Gohardorgohome.net At all Future Hoops AAU tournaments I'm usually doing the scoreboard or helping my father coach the younger kids. When ever there's a local event taking place in my city, I volunteer to do odd jobs such as picking up trash or bringing buckets of ice to the vendors.
