As a student athlete I understand that there are many sacrifices needed to achieve my personal goal of playing division one college basketball. This goal is the reason why I never want to make mistakes or miss a moment to improve my skills for the recruiting process. In the classroom I have put up superb grades in one of the most challenging schools in Wisconsin, Menomonee Falls High School. While doing so well in the classroom I also sacrifice social time to improve my skills in the gym. Knowing that only less than one percent of athletes play division one college basketball, I always make sure to stay humble and understand that a division 1 scholarship is not guaranteed. Since I know this I believe that if I continue to be humble, get superb grades, and always improve my skills, then I can achieve my goal of playing division one college basketball.

- STANDOUT FLOOR GENERAL Brooks is a tough, hard-nosed point guard who did a good job taking care of the ball, gets to the basket a little off the bounce and gets to the bucket. Uses a hesitation dribble and head fake to free himself up for forays to the hoop. Has a nice mid-range game and made several pull-up jumpers off the bounce. He stuck 3-pointers, got to the basket and the free throw line, rebounded and was a pest defensively.

- FIRST TEAM - Darryl Brooks II (G, 6-0, 2019, Menomonee Falls) – The sturdy and athletic Brooks was in control on both ends Saturday. His physical build gave off some peak Raymond Felton vibes in the way he controls his body to finish and takes advantage of angles. I have a feeling he’ll be a pesky defender with his quick hands and feet.

Big time pull up jumper in transition. Very good shooter with range to 3 point line and beyond. Great hesitation dribble and explode to rim. Showed great ability to hit tough shots, but for most part took very good shots. When you are guarded make sure to use a shot fake and clear your defender, or mover the ball then yourself.
