The best way I can explain it is…I WAS BORN MARRIED TO BASKETBALL

I was grabbing and putting my basketballs in the play-rim attached to my crib before I could walk at 8 months. By a year old I was running and tossing my basketballs in the play-rims my dad hung around the house.

The bond, feel, vision and energy I have ALWAYS had for the game of basketball can not be taught. I love physical labor, so working over and over on the game and my game, comes naturally. I have experienced great gains from working towards improvements, but honestly my starting point and senses for the game are a gift from God. Playing for me is a form of worship.

I enjoy every facet of the game…It’s a craving! From practice to scrimmage to fitness n conditioning to drills to watching tape. But my absolute favorite are the real games. The more intense the better. I’ve always enjoyed the more intense games. I know this isn’t the norm but for me the intensity in games has always tickled me into a higher level of performance.

I have admired your basketball program through the years and I’m also a fan of the academic reputation of your school. I am a down-to-earth student-athlete who would appreciate the opportunity to become a bright member of your school’s community and achievements. My hope and plan is to join your team, learn and work my tail off, and together with my teammates get us to the Final Four a few times. Once there we will get to our "One shining moment".
