Growing up I was dedicated to playing basketball and keeping my grades up.It was a struggle living in Trenton, New Jersey with courts being full of violence. My dad always shared the mindset with me that education will get me somewhere and he told me I can do anything as long as you put your mind to it. So I put my mind to it, and decided I wanted to play college ball. My mom told me to always take in the positivity. I put in effort day in day to get better and I have no excuse because there’s not the much people that got it like I do . I am a student athlete and I'm going to face challenges along my journey, but I'm ready. I'm prepared to go the extra mile because I want it.
