My goals for myself after high school is to continue doing what I love, which is playing Basketball. Basketball has been something that I’ve been in love with ever since kindergarten. Not just by playing the sport but by having a group of people right there with you is something I pull out from the sport. My teammates, coaches, and everybody apart of the team is something special. Feeling like you have another family is what makes it so special. When I’m apart of a team I make sure what ever is needed from me is done. Everybody has a job out on the court, some rebound, some are defenders, and some are mainly passers. With my game I like to work on everything so when I get to the next level whatever the team needs I will be able to step up and fill in the gap. I embrace every moment being on the court with my teammates and coaches. From being at practice to being at games, no matter which one I always embrace it. Being out there doing what I love with people that are pretty much my family is a blessing. I like to think myself as a leader, I’ve had the same group of friends since elementary school and they have always pointed me out to be the person they look up to. By coming to me whenever they need someone or to see how to do something. Growing up as the youngest with 2 older brothers taught me a lot about everything. From losing everyday out in the backyard playing some 21, it made me the person I am today. Made me stronger, smarter, and made me the basketball player I am today. Taught me to never give up no matter if you keep losing, to get back up and keep trying until your on top. I take school way more seriously due to basketball. I tend to make sure I have all my assignments turned in and not missing, also that all my grades are atleast an A-. I’m also a person that works for what they want. My oldest brother Carson has been someone I looked up to almost my whole life. He was a four year starter on varsity, set multiple records, and even won a regional trophy for the small town of Bellevue. He was the talk of the town, and I knew I had some big shoes to fill when I got into high school. My biggest goal was to be on Varsity as a freshmen. So my 7th and 8th grade year I worked hard to achieve it, finally when I became a freshmen I made it on varsity and I knew I couldn’t stop there. We just came short of a regional trophy my sophomore season with a great team. But that’s gonna be what powers me to work harder and become better for next season. Dedicated to the game!
