My name is Matthew Henein and I attend the International Academy of Macomb in Clinton Township, Michigan and I play Basketball for the Romeo Bulldogs of Romeo High School, Michigan. My school does not offer athletics so I play for my home high school, which is Romeo High School. I dream to be a college basketball player and to attend college and become a surgeon. As a college athlete, my aspirations are to play on a successful college basketball team and be a player who contributes to the team's success. As a college student, I want to get the highest possible grades and aspire to attend a prestigious medical school. From medical school, I want to study to become a Surgeon. I am a great candidate for college basketball teams because I am a great team player and I also prioritize team success over individual success. In addition, I always work to elevate my teammates in any way I possibly can. I am also a great candidate for college basketball teams because I am a hardworking student-athlete, as I hold myself to rigorous standards both athletically and academically. I am also a kind person who is both trusting and trustworthy and am guided by genuine morality and ethics.

- Intense 1 Hour Cardio sessions 2-3 times per week
- Personal Skills Training
- 2 years
- Intense Cardio and Skills development training done by a certified basketball trainer who was a point guard for a Divison 2 college and who played Varsity Basketball through high school.
- Vertimax Jump Training
- 1 year
- Intense 1 hour long session focused on increasing jup stamina, vertical jump height and jumping high with defenders and others going for rebounds.
- Weight Training
- 3 years
- I weight train 5-6 times a week on different muscle groups. For example, one day I could do an hour full of rep focused chest workouts and also an hour session of leg workouts and another day I could do an Hour long session training biceps (weight focused) and an hour session of tricep training (rep focused). These are in addition to the other training and team practices I attend. The weight training split that I use allows for targetting of all major and minor muscle groups in both the upper and lower body with an emphasis on both explosive and active movements but also pushing heavy weight (time under tension).

Yes. Yes, I attend an IB School in which all 8 of my classes are IB courses. I am enrolled in double IB Sciences (IB Chemistry and IB Biology) while also being in IB SL Mathematics Analysis. Additionally, I am enrolled in a foreign language course at the IB level as well (IB Spanish). These are in additon to the IB History and IB English Literature courses that I am enrolled in as well. These are all in addition to my other two non-core IB courses (IB Theory of Knowledge and Product Team).Registered with the NCAA Eligibility Center?
