Thank you for taking the time to view my profile. I value a strong eduction but have a deep desire to participate in athletics during college. I am a people person, a leader on my team and have been training in 2 sports for over 10 years. Currently a captain on my high school team, I enjoy seeing my teammates thrive.
I hope to go to a good college and get an amazing education while participating in sports. I am open to going to a school that is anywhere in the country, but want to connect with other students, professors and coaches. For my freshman year of high school, I attended my local HS which is the largest in the state of Michigan. I was able to make both the basketball and baseball team my freshman year among strong competition and kept my GPA at 3.723. I decided to transfer for my sophomore year, to a small, private college prep school that focuses on student accountability and a strong education. This move was challenging for me as the schoolwork is much harder, the commute is longer and it has forced me to take more ownership. Those things help to make me different from other recruits. I continue to keep up good grades ending my junior year with a 3.65 cumulative GPA and am making amazing connections. Lastly, I was able to excel in fall sports, making the varsity basketball team as a sophomore and junior.
