Eric Elizondo '21 Recruiting Profile

My passion is basketball and being part of a winning team.  I have always been a point guard, mainly due to my handles, court vision, and urge for a great assist.  I am known for my unselfish play that would rather get my teammates involved with a nice assist than a bucket for myself.  I am also known for a first quick step to get past my defender to drive to the basket.  My 3pt shot has improved greatly as I have worked on a step-back move. I am quick on defense and led our team in steals.  I was a varsity starter at Milford as a Sophomore and Junior. As a sophomore, our team (16-7)  made it to the State Regionals. I am very coachable, as I have played and trained under different coaching styles and always adapted.  I am a good student, but know I can do better in this area. I just started to have a desire to read books in my spare time, as I have read several books this summer. Although, I have played basketball year round the last 4 years, I enjoy many other sports.  I played travel soccer until age 13, which helped in my footwork for basketball.  My goal is to continue my basketball passion at the college level
