Jaxon Marine 15U ...Personal Statement
My name is Jaxon Marine. I have wanted to play college basketball from a very young age and I have always been motivated to reach my dreams. I set goals for myself to play at a higher level early in my life. When I was in 8th grade I started every game for JV. Entering my freshman year I thought I had the chance to start varsity. I was able to make varsity, but I saw limited action in my first 20 games. During this time I was not discouraged, I continued to work tirelessly in practice to prove I could make a difference on varsity. I was able to prove to my varsity coaches that not only do I belong, but earned significant playing time the last 7 games of the season starting the last 4 games my freshman year that ended February 2019. I am working hard on my AAU team and with trainers to improve my game and I am looking forward to my sophomore season. I currently have a 3.4 GPA, and by the end of high school I aim to be higher than this as I have been traditionally close to a 4.0 student.

- We are currently ranked 7th in the state of Minnesota. We don't keep stats, but my dad does watching game film. I am averaging a double double in rebounds and points every game.
- 2018 Team Machine (14U)
- Team Machine created a website my 14U season, but didn't have one prior. We were a group of regional kids that played multiple sports at the time (Track, Golf, Soccer). We worked to make sure our schedule worked for everyone. I planned to continue with this team, but after getting multiple offers from other AAU teams I decided to get with a bigger program for more exposure.

- ETS was founded by Adam Thielen and Marcus Sherels of the Minnesota Vikings. Formerly this program was ran by Olmsted Medical. They tailor workouts to the sport(s) the athlete is most interested in. The athletes work out with individual certified trainers that give them workouts also based on their body type.
