Trenten Cavaness '21 Recruiting Profile

    I pride myself in being the player on my team who is willing to do whatever it takes to win.  Nothing on the court makes me happier than creating an easy bucket or making that one extra pass that gets my team an open shot. Although I gained a lot of interest in basketball when I was young because of my size, I am very confident when shooting on the move and space out the floor well. I have solid footwork and work the post diligently. I am dedicated, committed and very coach-able.  I have spent several years studying the game by watching film of high school and college games, attending several camps every summer, and playing for the Minnesota Comets AAU program. I will be a three-year varsity starter and currently captain my junior year.

    I would like attend a school where I can succeed on the court and in the classroom. I would like to major in Kinesiology and Exercise Science so I can keep working with other athletes.  I enjoy volunteering at our area youth sport camps and playing guitar in my Churches worship band.  My family and my team are very important to me and I strive to give both my full effort.
