While basketball is one of the things I strive to be great at , I also work hard to be a leader and a role model in school. I practice these skills, because my character is very important to me and they can carry over to being a good teammate and showing sportsmanship on the basketball court. In the future I want to play college basketball. I want to play for a team that I can contribute on, and while winning is very important, I also want to make sure it is a team that shows sportsmanship and plays with pride at all times. That is my main focus, to be able to contribute to the team in the areas I do best. I feel like for my age I have some very unique traits on the court that can differ from others. Starting off, my favorite position is point guard, and I feel like I have great speed for my size. Another trait I feel like is a strength in my game is my vision on the court. I feel like I can see the court very well and make the right play with passes not normally seen at my age. A good pass to a teammate that leads to an easy score brings me the most satisfaction in my game. Finally, I feel like I have a very strong work ethic. I work very hard at everything I do, like school where my GPA is 3.9. In sports I work very hard because I have the drive to become the best player I can be . Entering High School in the fall of 2019, I will continue to develop my basketball skills while working hard at being the best person I can be.
