My name is Reece Volk. I'm will be a junior at Lakeville South High School out of Lakeville, Minnesota. In Sept 2019 (my freshman year) I suffered a broken tibia and fibula in football which caused me to miss the entire winter basketball season. I'm fortunate enough that COVID hit and delayed AAU in Minnesota, so D-1 Minnesota gave me a chance to play basketball for the first time since the spring of 2019. Now I am back in full swing and am playing for Gain Elite 16U .
I value being part of a winning culture where I can continue my learning both on and off the court. I'm an A student in the classroom, was a 3 sport athlete and aspire to play college basketball. I pride myself and my game on tenacious defense, the ability to shoot from anywhere, and the ability to make teammates around me better. My dedication and determination to be a model student and get my stronger than I was before my accident is why colleges should consider me for their program.
