Hard work is not a concept that is intimidating to me. After overcoming Osgood-Schlatter disease by the end of my Sophomore year and not playing much time during varsity games, I made up my mind to overcome my shortfalls. I started training for the next year, the day after our season ended. I hit the gym nearly every day and worked on fitness and basketball skills along with focusing on my nutrition. By the beginning of my Junior year, I not only earned a starting position, but was also named one of the Varsity Team Captains. I am currently continuing to build and develop toward a successful future.
I am looking for a program that will be a good fit for me academically and socially, as well as athletically. I value the student-athlete experiences as much as the athletic program I hope to be a part of. I feel that I have the talent, along with the work ethic, character, and leadership skills to be a positive influence on your athletic program.
