Tysen Grinde '23 Recruiting Profile

I have been a basketball player since 2nd grade. I have a great work ethic. When I apply myself, I exceed expectations on and off the court. Our team's philosophy is NOW-U (Nobody Outworks Us). I strive to always be the hardest working player on the court. The more fun I'm having, the better my teammates and I play. I try my best to lead my team by example, both on and off the court.

Academically, I have maintained an unweighted GPA of 3.93, stayed on the Honor Roll, and received Academic Excellence every year in high school.

I volunteer at local youth basketball and football tournaments, whether that be coaching, reffing, running clock/scoreboard, or keeping the stats book. 

I want to go to a college that has both strong academic standards and a strong, competitive basketball/football team. I hope that the college that I attend properly prepares me for life after college.
